Welcome to Washington School. My name is Peggy Heinz. I am the principal at Washington and Jefferson Elementary. Washington School is located at 1451 McClellan S.W. The phone number is 353-7895.

 

Washington is a two section school K-5. It is currently the largest elementary school in Huron with enrollment around 292 students. We encourage parents to visit the school. Upon arrival please stop in the office and sign in.

 

I have 13 years experience in Special Education working with students in grades K-12. I received a double major from Northern State University with a double major in Elementary and Special Education. I received my master from Northern State University in Elementary Administration. I am married to Dennis Heinz, who works at Northwestern. We have 4 children – Houstyn, Hyland, Havyn, and Hamtyn.

 

I am very honored to be given the opportunity to work with your children and to work with an outstanding staff. I am looking forward to a great year.
